Designed to cure his young daughter Alicia's Progeria, an incurable, progressive and fatal malady, Professor James Marcus makes a breakthrough by discovering the T-Virus, however, the miraculous remedy with the unforeseen side-effects, in reality, it was not the cure humanity was led to believe. Instead, this scourge that devours the flesh spitting out undead hellish abominations, spread across the world within days, bringing humankind to its knees and the last remaining human outposts facing impending extermination within hours. Under those circumstances, Alice must race the clock and break back into the ruined Umbrella Corporation Headquarters in Racoon City to retrieve the last vial of an airborne anti-virus to save the remaining persisting human survivors that are still uninfected. But the Hive, the underground stronghold, is deep, still riddled with the hordes of the ravenous animated dead, while at the same time, Alice's arch-nemesis, Dr Alexander Isaacs has a plan for immortality of his own. Is there any hope left for humanity?
Alice returns to where the nightmare began: The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
I&#39;ll keep it simple, this movie is not made for humans. The amount of quick cuts and jumpy edits this movie uses, simply can not be processed by human brain. I feel it was done to distract viewers from noticing what a stinking pile of rotten poo this movie has for script.<br/><br/>I could only watch the first 10 minutes of the movie, before realizing that I have something much much better to do - watching grass grow in my lawn. If you are a human, do yourself a favor and skip this movie.
Some Plot Points. Not specific Ending.<br/><br/>The film opens with a quick recap: Umbrella Company, sick little girl, cure, T-virus, zombie Apocalypse. Nothing about Alice or the gazillion films we have seen her in other than &quot;they all died.&quot; Within minutes we find out &quot;It&#39;s a trap.&quot; There is an airborne anti-virus&quot; i.e. a cure. And we quickly enter an action scene of Fast and Furious vs a pterodactyl. When F&amp;F becomes boring we go into Mad Max mode with hordes of zombies with super explosions and plenty of night time fighting. There is a lot of action with the end with film tidying up loose ends with plot points we all suspected from mediocre fan fiction. And of course the final chapter leads the door open should Milla get hungry or some fan comes up with a redundant plot and a second Death Star and Superman dies.<br/><br/>The problem I had with this film was the same as all the sequels, is that there appears to be a lack of continuity between the films. A film does not start where the last one leaves off, perhaps my bad being brought up on 5 Ape films.. Seems to be a better game than film.<br/><br/>Guide: Violence, no sex or nudity. No swearing.
The movie percolates enough that even when, at its climax, it shamelessly recycles a grisly punch line from 1987’s “RoboCop,” it’s kind of endearing, not least because Mr. Anderson and company make it work.
The Hive was around five miles underground. Raccoon City was destroyed, but the Hive would still be standing. At this point, the Spencer Mansion is still standing in movie continuity as well, meaning they could easily use that side entrance to get to The Hive if they weren&#39;t able to get in through the main entrance that was in Raccoon City.
