Jedi Master in hiding Luke Skywalker unwillingly attempts to guide young hopeful Rey in the ways of the force, while Leia, former princess turned general, attempts to lead what is left of the Resistance away from the ruthless tyrannical grip of the First Order. Rey develops her newly discovered abilities with the guidance of Luke Skywalker, who is unsettled by the strength of her powers. Meanwhile, the Resistance prepares for battle with the First Order. This entire film, how it treats the legacy, how much thought & effort the director and team put into this film….can all be summed up perfectly by the character allegedly Luke Skywalker, taking the iconic lightsaber from Rey and tossing it off the cliff over his shoulder. That scene summed up the entire film. Could say it summed up both TFA & TLJ. Only after watching the entire rest of this fubar did I understand that scene in the beginning. Maybe the writing/directing of that scene is more clever than I give credit for.

Aside from a couple of awesome scenes (from a cinematography standpoint)….this film was a complete waste of potential compared to what the trailer had us believed it would be (like some sort of jedi mind trick) and a pile of utter garbage.

This is not a Marvel Comic superhero film that can be done later, differently. This is Star Wars canon you're messing with. There's no going back and redoing it. Do these so-called directors understand this?

I will be reading spoilers before seeing Ep9 because I will not be spending another dime on this "trilogy" until I know for a fact they put in the effort for a decent script, a decent story line, decent world-building, decent character development, decent basic science for Yoda-sake, a decent movie period - worthy of the Star Wars name. The first three released Star Wars Movies were fantastic. When I left the theater after seeing the first one, I felt like I was returning from an adventure; the movie really pulled me in.

The last six Star Wars movies have become progressively worse until now I really don't want to see another. The last two were absolute disappointments. I do not care about the characters or the plot. Maybe I am just too old for this kind of movie. I am thoroughly tired of comic book heroes and plots that never develop to the point where I care. The new Star trek TV series is also completely uninteresting and maybe this is more indicative of my tastes changing but I don't think so.

I think that the people who made the older movies are no longer making them and a new crew that does not understand science fiction has taken over. It is sad to see this happen to such a fine genre. If having pure fun at a “Star Wars” movie is wrong, I don’t want to be right. So for me, The Last Jedi falls right behind “The Empire Strikes Back” and maybe the original film in providing the thrills and the heartbreak, the heroism and villainy, and the romance and betrayal that makes these films such a treat even for those of us who can’t name all the planets or the alien species or even the Empire’s flunkies. Not necessarily. The title is intentionally ambiguous, as Jedi is both singular and plural. As stated in the opening crawl of The Force Awakens, Luke Skywalker is the last Jedi. TLJ Director, Rian Johnson has also confirmed this in interviews and via Twitter. In the first trailer for this film, Luke is heard saying "I only know one truth; it's time for the Jedi to end.", which could mean he refuses to train Rey to become a Jedi but may still train her in the use of the force, which would make Luke the literal last Jedi. However, if Luke trains Rey to be a Jedi, then they would both be the last. Naturally, we can only speculate at this point. It's possible Luke is wracked with guilt over the massacre of the new Jedi Order he created. Twice the Jedi order has failed. It's likely that Luke has realized that the way the Jedi order utilizes only the light side of the Force isn't effective. So perhaps he wants to create a new order with Rey that is more in-between, embracing both the light and the dark (embracing "a larger view of the Force", "not just the dogmatic, narrow view of the Jedi", in a more honest context than those who would use such a sales pitch). Notice the symbolism of the first poster. Luke's face (light side) on one side, Kylo Ren's (dark side) on the other, with Rey in the middle separating the two and her lightsaber going from blue to red. November 3rd, 2017: Re-wrote and tightened up the question "Does the title signify or foreshadow the end of the Jedi Order?" as it rambled on and on about things that didn't really have anything to do with the question. Nor did it provide any answers or theories based on information we know.

17 November Edited for grammatical errors. a5c7b9f00b A Famous Picture movie download in hdThe Bourne Identity full movie in hindi 720pThe Dark Doctor Deal full movie in hindi downloadtamil movie Gold Fever free downloadBefore Dawn tamil dubbed movie free downloadtamil movie dubbed in hindi free download Batman: Gotham KnightBrooklyn and the Beast tamil dubbed movie torrentThe Dark Tower movie download in hdmalayalam movie download Tell It SlantTown Challenge full movie in hindi 720p download
